Paul Compton 'Houses of Blood & Rupture' opens tonight at Hand Held Gallery, see details above (Images courtesy of 'Hand Held Galleries Blog: http://handheldgallery.blogspot.com/). Hand Held Gallery is an apt location for Compton's work given the intimate scale of his works - note the house above only just towers the gallery floor skirting board. Hand Held gallery opened in August, 2008 to house small ecclectic object-based works, books, zines, paper arts and for all things laboriously made by artists to fit in ones hands.
